As a journalist and past editor of the Ontario Humanist Society newsletter, it was a real joy to return to writing and interviewing for our organization’s newsletter these past few months. It’s a reminder that we Humanist Officiants do more than conduct ceremonies. We are usually drawn to discuss issues involving notions of equality, fairness, justice, compassion, choice and so on — all issues that inform the way we write and conduct ceremonies for clients. So, I am pleased to share the interview I conducted for this past edition. This interview is with a psychotherapist that works with Dying with Dignity in Toronto and is posted on the Ontario Humanist Society website where there is also a link to our Facebook page. Please excuse the fact that the editor misspelled my name. It has yet to be corrected.
